What is Firaushah?
Firaushah is a division of CopperStar International Pte. Ltd., a privately owned company incorporated in the nation of Singapore. The company is 100% Muslim-owned. The word, "firaushah," is Arabic for "butterfly."

What is Firaushah's Philosophy?
"Allah (swt) is beautiful and loves beauty..." (Sahih Muslim)

One of our concerns as Muslims is the beauty of our ummah. By using the word, "beauty," we are not referring solely to external or physical beauty. Of course that is important, whether we are single and looking for a spouse or married and wanting to look good for our mate and family.

We are also interested in one's inner beauty; for example, how well we know our religion, Islam, and practice it in our daily lives. This type of beauty is incumbent upon both men and women.

And so we hope that you will find our products of value, that they may help you grow in your external and internal beauty, as the caterpillar becomes a beautiful butterfly, insha'allah.

Do you accept international orders?

Yes, absolutely.

How do I pay for an order?
At this time, we accept payments through PayPal, money orders and cashier's checks (no personal checks, please). The Yahoo! storefront is currently set up for PayPal; however, if you wish to purchase off-line, we will be more than happy to accommodate you. Please send either a money order or cashier's check payable to CopperStar International Pte. Ltd. for the appropriate amount plus shipping and handling. (See the Contact page for our mailing address.) Your merchandise will be shipped to you when the money order or cashier's check has cleared, insha'allah.

How much is postage?
The cost for shipping and handling depends upon where you are in the world. We normally ship through SingPost, the Singapore postal service, which has the lowest rates in Singapore compared to other air freight delivery companies, like FedEx, DHL and UPS. SingPost's rates may fluctuate from month to month (also, there are currency exchange rate fluctuations to consider), so shipping and handling costs will vary over time, insha'allah.

For the month of May 2006, the maximum shipping charge will be US$18.71 for packages up to 0.5 kg (1.1 lb.) and US$23.32 for those up to 1.0 kg (2.2 lb.). See the Shipping page for further details.

How long does delivery take?
Once we have received payment we will send out the order by the next business day, insha'allah. For North America, SingPost normally takes 9-15 days; for Europe, 9-17 days; for Australia and New Zealand, 9-12 days, insha'allah. If you need quicker delivery, please let us know via e-mail so that we may arrange an alternative method of delivery (FedEx, DHL or UPS). Please keep in mind that shipping via another air freight carrier will be more expensive.

What is your return policy? How do I return something?
If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason, we will refund your money or exchange any item, no questions asked. We only ask that you return the item to us unused and in its original condition, with the appropriate packing slip within seven days of receiving your order. Please note we cannot pay for any postage costs.

What about customer privacy?
There are two customer privacy policies in place.

This site is hosted by Yahoo! Store. Yahoo! hosts the store pages, ordering system, and order data. Yahoo! automatically collects order information but may only use this information in the aggregate. If you accessed this store through Yahoo! Shopping, Yahoo! also automatically collects information about your shopping experience. Please see the Yahoo! As for Firaushah, our customer privacy policy is simple: To the best of our abilities, we will never release any detailed, confidential customer information to anyone outside the company, insha'allah. The only information we may possibly release outside of the company would be in a summarized statistical format where all customer information is anonymous, insha'allah.
